This championship is organized by the Tokyo Unicorn Project Steering Committee (founder: Yoshiki Moribe, Representative Director of Rocking Horse Co., Ltd.) under the slogan “Creating a Unicorn Company from Tokyo” and it is sponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The tournament 2021 (hereinafter referred to as “Venture Championship”) was held on Thursday, December 16, 2021.
The Tokyo Unicorn Project Steering Committee is an advisor to more than 100 venture companies, so promoting the support of start-up companies is one of its policies. It aims to “create a unicorn company” that will change the world, fly globally, and lead the next generation.
This year, the third time, there were entries from 100 companies. After careful document screening, a final event was held for 12 companies that proceeded to the final, and 4 companies received the award. It was combined with the number one Love Excellence Award and the Brilliant Award from the Governor of Tokyo.
